The lecturer asserts that there are several misunderstandings about bonobos and chimpanzees that the former are loving and peaceful and the latter are aggressive animals. This refuts the reading passage's claim that bonobos are gentle and the chimpanzees often act aggressively. To begin with, the lecturer maintains that scientists have observed that bonobos also act aggressively when they are angry. They would shake their feasts and throw some objects. Also, they would throw sticks and even fight one another. This rebuts the reading passage's claim that bonobos are always gentle and peaceful. Second, the lecturer argues that the reason why young bonobos are raraely attacked by others, is that they are always accompanied by their parents. In contrast, young chimpanzees are often alone and they are more vulnerable to attacked from others. This contradicts the reading passage's claim that bonobos do not attack young bonobos but the chimpanzees often take aggressive actions to youngs. Third, the lecturer says that the chimpanzees prefer to eat fruit over meat. The only reason why chimpanzees eat meat is, people destroyed their territories by developing the lands. Thus, if bonobos are limited to the same environments, they might eat meat,too. This opposes the reading passage's claim that bonobos are vegetarian but chimpanzees eat meat and they often stalk and kill prey.

Nowadays, more and more books are published and people read books for many purposes, such as improve their various skills, relax themselves. Thus, some people might think that people learn more by reading books than by watching television. However, in my opinion, people would learn more by watching TV rather than by reading books. There are several reasons: Televisions would give more vivid impressions to people. Also, many people prefer to watch TV when they are free.
