Television VS Radio

The younger generation votes for TV while the radio is the choice of the older generation. But this is more of a social condition than a trend. TV has many advantages, the main being that there is a picture visible on the screen and no imagination is required. The host has to work harder to attract the listeners, to compensate the lack of visuals (non-verbal communication). Plus radio is portable whereas TV is not. Almost every household today has a TV but do not necessarily own a radio. But now thanks to internet we have online radio thus allowing people to get access to radio. TV or radio, both has its advantages and disadvantages. So now that both TV and radio are accessible to the 21st century people, which medium do they prefer and why?
