A: First of all, I’d like to welcome you all to the meeting. We are going to discuss how to promote the business and cut the current costs because of our company has not been very good in the past. Well, I’d like to recommend promotion on TV. It’s because there is a wider coverage to attract more customers. Are there any ideas in this strategy? B: That’s not how I see it. Promotion on TV is too expensive, we will over budget. Plan an advertisement on TV around HK$800 for a 30 seconds advertisement, we only have $3000 budget in this project what do you think about TV promotion, Anthony? C; I think so it is because our store has not been very good in the past. So we have not enough capital to pay advertisement fees .What do you think suki? A: So promotion on TV, maybe not suitable for this project because of us has not enough budgets. Is there other idea? B: Well, I’d like to recommend spread some promotional offer such as you can get 5% cash refund for every $1000 spent. The reason of choose cash refund is increasing number of new customers and increase sales of a specific product. How about your opinion? C: I can see your point, but cash refund is too expensive. We need to attract different of customers including low-income family and young people in my mind, I suggested the customer can enjoy up to 2 hours’ free parking for every HK$200 spent during weekdays. It is because nowadays the parking fees too expensive. Do you agree with me? B: I’m not sure about that, free parking just for the customer who has private car. Compare with cash refund may be not really effective. What do you opinion Suki? A: I think the cash refund is better than 2 hours’ free parking. There are a lot of customers may be use the public transport. Therefore, they can’t enjoy this promotion. How do you feel about online promotion, Anthony?
